Applying Computer Graphic Design Software in a Computer-Assisted Instruction Teaching Model of Makeup Design

Methods for teaching contemporary makeup design involve drawing on paper, which requires considerable time and is difficult to edit. To change the color, one must redraw their entire again, both inefficient not environmentally friendly. Furthermore, drawings are preserve. However, computer graphic has been used in of drawing; instead, learners rely knowledge from professors experience they accumulate through practicing paper. Computer software allows users experiment with various color designs, lines, shading options before finalizing design. Thus, this study sought employ such technology improve upon conventional hand practice techniques. The was divided into a preliminary main experiment, where two-stage questionnaire conducted. In researchers compared required complete hand-drawn computer-drawn designs. results revealed that designs almost double than complete. Additionally, time-lapse photography taken during process; photos were explain—to participants digital group experiment—the procedures operation time. first stage comprised brush selection experiment. participants, 39 students cosmetology department, completed Likert-scale questionnaire. They also performed item analysis discuss select tools software, met requirements pertaining eyebrow, eyeshadow, eyeliner, blush, nose contour, lips. allowed different colors immediately displays results. second stage, an optimizing arrangements by 10 experts, all whom teachers department cosmetology, had at least 5 years experience, obtained Level B (advanced level) Beauty Technician Certificate. Data analyzed narrative conducted determine rating evaluation priorities standards eyebrows, eyeliners, requirement symmetry achieved using mirror function software. This useful: it enabled approximately half transformed learning method interdisciplinary integration, established novel innovative models, provides crucial insights future research improving practice.
